Bring some already cut squares and strips and get ready to sew. You have your choice of working with 2” strips or 2.5” strips. 2” strips yield a 3” finished component and a 12” finished block. 2.5” strips yield a 4” finished component and 16” finished block

Cut up all of those leftover pieces from past projects or cut up stash that you’ve had forever. Scraps can be coordinated but don’t have to be – Civil War, Thirties, Hawaiian, Brights, Patriotic. This is also a good one to use up a jelly roll or a fat quarter collection that you’ve had for a while. This quilt is fun and easy to make. It looks good in just about any genre.


Other Supplies: Sewing machine and thread, Rotary Cutter with newer/sharp blade, Pencil or marking tool for marking diagonal lines on neutral squares, Ruler for rotary cutting Scissors/seam ripper
