Cathedral Windows Saturday February 24 (10:00-3:00)

Whether you are intrigued with the peculiar history of Cathedral Window quilts or simply want to try your hand at a new technique this class may be for you.

Because of the "greediness" of the fabric I do not suggest that you plan on making a big project.  One of the examples shown has not been completed so that you may see the back and LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES!!!
The class will concentrate on making just a few windows.  The fabric requirements are simple.  No batting goes into these quilts.  Once a section is pieced it's finished.

The squares (folded section) are twice the size of the window PLUS 1/2 inch seam allowance.  For example if your window measures 4" the squares should be cut at 8 1/2".  PLEASE PLAN ON MAKING AT LEAST FOUR SQUARES AND WINDOWS.

In addition to fabric you will need:
sewing machine that you know how to use
straight pins, rotary cutter, thread to match squares, point turner if you have one, pencil and paper for note taking and FOOD for your lunch.
This is a TECHNIQUE CLASS...use your scraps.
