Bring some already 2 1/2" strips in both color and neutral and get ready to sew. Rule of thumb for this one is to match one color to one neutral. Individual block finish at 4" with foursome finishing at 8".
Cut up a bunch of 2 1/2" strips . Jelly rolls, fat quarters, fat eights, and scrap yardage will work. Use any combo you like. If you don't have a lot of scraps, think about cutting up a collection or fabric or a kit that you haven't done anything with for a long time or buy some fat quarters that you like.
You'll need equal amounts of colors and neutral. 8 strips each is a good start. Minimum size is 2 1/2" X 4 1/2" but you'll also be using some 2 1/2 " squares.
This quilt is fun and addictive for all skills levels. Come join in on the fun and liquidate some stash!!!
