Fusible Applique (12 noon-4pm) ($30)

Pattern of your choice

Several 6 ½” squares of fabric for practice (I use the old stuff from my stash!)

Fabric as required by your pattern

Rotary cutter and ruler

Fat quarter muslin or Kona White to back light colored fabrics if your background is dark (I prefer the Kona White)

One yard or one package lightweight fusible webbing (I prefer either Steam-a-Seam Lite 2 or Soft Fuse)

Pen for marking fusible webbing (I like the ultra-fine retractable sharpie)

Mechanical pencil (for marking embroidery lines)

Sharp scissors for fabric and paper (you will be cutting paper, fusible webbing, and fabric)

Applique sheet (must have)

Light box (optional, but very helpful)

Personal iron and ironing pad* (must have)

Black embroidery floss or preferred embroidery thread

Needles (choose one you can hold comfortably)
