In the Mix Pattern Refer to Annie’s instructions for determining which size cover fits your mixer (page 2). She includes the Add-On video to help you with making adjustments for your mixer if needed.
All Fabric requirements and notions indicated on the pattern (Sup179 Fusible Interfacing is ShapeFlex SF101)
We carry the supplies for Annie’s patterns as well as notions listed below.
Other notions: 1/8” or 1/4” double sided basting tape, Wonder Clips, Stiletto, Scissors, Pins, marking pencil, etc. As well as all your favorite sewing notions. Thread for top stitching on the bag to match your fabric. A highlighter is helpful for marking things on the pattern you may want to remember. Optional: Ott light, iron and ironing pad for your station
Prior to class you must:
Quilt your fabric.
Cut out your coordinating fabric pieces and label with the label page included in your pattern (I copy this page for use so I have the original for future covers)
If you are comfortable cutting out your main quilted pieces, please do so as it will give you much more time for constructing the cover. You can also cut them out in the class if you need a bit of guidance, especially for directional fabric. The Add-On video addresses the directional fabric when cutting the side strip. My cover is directional.
So to finish up, this pattern has a lot of components and you may not get the entire cover finished in class but my goal is to get you far enough along that you will be able to finish up at home. I’m always available for questions prior to and after the class so please feel free to call me. I’m happy to help.
