Fabrics and notions as indicated on the pattern for the size you are making (Sup179 Fusible Interfacing is ShapeFlex SF101)
We carry the supplies listed on By Annie’s patterns as well as the notions listed below.
Other notions:. 1/8” or 1/4” double sided basting tape, Wonder Clips, Stiletto, Scissors (paper scissors too), pins, marking pencil, etc. As well as all your favorite sewing notions. Thread for topstitching on the bag to match your fabric A highlighter is helpful for marking things on the pattern you may want to remember. An ott light and an iron and ironing mat is helpful but optional
Prior to Class you MUST Quilt your exterior fabric to the soft and stable only.
Cut out your lining and coordinating fabric pieces and label with the label page included in your pattern (I copy this page for use so I have the original for future cubes) Do not cut out the bias binding fabric, we will talk about ways to cut the strips in class If you are uncomfortable cutting out the vinyl, we can do that in class. Vinyl is unforgiving so you can’t use pins to hold in place, which is why having wonder clips or some kind of clip is necessary. The more you can get cut and ready for the class the more you will get finished. Bring any extra fabric you have in case you need to recut something.
