Sewing machine in good working order (please know your machine)
We will be using a darning foot
Know how to drop the feed dogs
You will need 10 - 10" sandwiches of muslin-batting-muslin and safety-pinned together. It is ok to bring some larger pieces (sandwiches) to try.
Pencil and notebook paper for doodling and notes. Lots of notes!
Assortment of thread colors. We like 50 weight; it has purple writing on top of (Mettler) spool.
4 or 5 bobbins ready to go
Chair cushion sew you sit higher
If you have an extension table, please bring it.
Machinger gloves
We will be talking about machine needles and other accessories to make machine quilting easier.
We will be taking a short lunch break, feel free to bring lunch or there are many places very close.
