Hawaiian Applique (10:30am-3pm) ($35)
Hawaiian Appliqué Hand
We will be doing a Bread Fruit Appliqué; pattern is provided in class
1 ¼ yard of background fabric
1 ¼ yard for appliqué and back of pillow
These will be cut from yardage above:
1 square 22” of background fabric (please cut before class)
1 square 22” of contrasting for appliqué (please cut before class)
Thread to match the color of your fabric
I like to use silk finish Mettler (Green writing)
Appliqué Needles
I use an applique needle size 10 or 11 (or whatever needle you prefer)
Very sharp scissors
Straight pins, Thimble
Pencil and paper for notes
