Sampler:

6 – 9X9” squares (solid fabric or fabrics that read as solids)

Backing: 22X31” coordinating fabric

Batting: 22X31”

Practice Piece: 2 – 10X10” squares (solid fabric)

Batting: 10x10”

Thread:

50 wt. to match Sampler top (I use Aurifil)

Invisible (I use Auifil)

Sewing Machine needles Sharp 70/10

Walking Foot for your sewing machine

Extension table for your sewing machine

Quilting Ruler 6X24

Frixion Pilot marking pen

 Pre-Class Preparation:

Have quilt sandwiches ready:

   Piece together the sampler

   Sandwich Sampler top, batting and backing using 505 adhesive method (see Walk book pgs. 21- 24)    

Sandwich practice squares and batting (no adhesive needed)

For this class you will need a sewing machine (working knowledge of your machine, extra bobbins, needles, manual) and basic sewing supplies (scissors, thread, seam ripper, etc.)
