Other notions:
- 1/4” or 1/8” double sided basting tape, Wonder Clips, Stiletto, Scissors,
- Pins, marking pencil, etc. As well as all your favorite sewing notions.
- Optional Thread for topstitching on the bag to match your fabric
- A highlighter is helpful for marking things on the pattern you may want to remember.
- Optional: 1/2 yd Slicker laminate, iron and ironing pad, ott light
- Quilt your fabric if you are planning on making quilted pouches
- Make your templates of the size of pouch you plan to make in class
- Precut your fabric pieces. If you’re uncomfortable cutting out the main pieces using the template you can wait until class.
- If you want to use the Slicker you cannot quilt your fabric due to the laminate not being self healing with the needle holes.
- If you use directional fabric take care to follow ByAnnie’s instructions located on Page 2, 1. Cut chart.
- Note the *Tip after the chart showing how to stitch the two pieces together to make one piece before cutting your template.
- Watching the Add-on-Video included in your pattern is helpful
- Bring any leftover fabric in case of oops cuts
